slight correction to the molly maher hot ticket

as you may or may not be aware, hot tickets in the pulse often come together at the last minute and can't often get the scrutiny that feature articles do, and sometimes we drop the ball. by which i mean i drop the ball. in my enthusiasm for molly maher, i forgot to note that she didn't write "tugboat," the song that appeared on missing: code blue. in my own defense, i knew that she hadn't written it, i just meant to say that her rendition of it made it a "a sweet tune of subtle strength that could sidle up comfortably to the best of Lucinda Williams." tommy tousey was kind enough to point out this oversight and here's his note, plus the info on the tune's author:

Just wanted to throw in my 2 cents about the blurb about Molly Maher in the "Hot Tickets" section. Nothing against Molly, who is a dear good friend, or her formidable songwriting skills--but the song "Tugboat" is actually a cover. It was written and often performed by Thomas "Hookhead" Case. Molly actually started performing the song with Thomas in their now-defunct duo Hookhead and Mare. I'm pretty sure Molly still does a number of songs written by Thomas, and he still sometimes plays some of her tunes. All of this is really kinda beside the point, though. I just wanted to give email props to the actual songwriter.
